Meira grew up separated from her twin, Rina, after their mother was forced to flee her husband, the king of Elydon, only able to take one daughter with her. Now war among the archipelagos is on the horizon, and the king intends to marry Rina off to a bloodthirsty duke. Meira vows to stop the marriage and bring Rina to Thessadosia--to their mother--to keep her safe from the impending conflict and her would-be husband.

Meira attempts what couldn't be done years prior: extracting her twin from the capital city of the Elydonian Empire. A race against time ensues, and the appearance a mysterious black ship and unearthed plans to conquer all of Theria complicate everything.

Meira thought stealing Rina from her gilded cage in Elydon would be difficult, but she has no idea how deadly their voyage is about to become.
